About Us

...because life is all about people.

At 39:23 Management, we know that life is all about people, and we take care of people. Whether it is our team, our guests, our tenants, our partners, our vendors, or our communities, we focus on people. To help us fulfill our mission, we lean on the values listed below. These values are rooted in the exhortation from Jesus to love God and love others and inspired by the example of Joseph in Genesis 39:23, which reads, "The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph's care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did."

RESPECT PEOPLE

We honor others with our words and actions. We stay humble. We assume the best about people. We smile a lot with eye contact (respect with your face). We embrace our passions and our love for life. We take care of ourselves, allowing us to take care of each other. We take care of people.

"Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity." Colossians 4:5

COMMUNICATE PRECISELY

We initiate conversations. We communicate directly. We gather and record specific and accurate facts. Questions are safe. We bring problems out in the open. We never intend to deceive.

"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." Colossians 4:6

SOLVE PROBLEMS

We hunt for problems. We quickly solve other people's problems. We keep working until all problems are solved. We respond with "yes, and" to others' ideas for solutions. Everyone is an owner.

"With You I can stack a barrier and with my God I can leap over a wall." Psalm 18:29

EMPOWER HOSTS

We train hosts to take care of people. We trust the judgment of our hosts. We trust each other.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:22-24

ALWAYS LEARN

We are listeners and learners. We are willing to try new things and patient to practice new things. Change is constant and welcome. Mistakes and regrets will happen. We never waste one. We see failure as an opportunity to learn and improve. We are stepping outside comfort zones. Hosts should be safe, but we do not really want them to be comfortable. We want them to be constantly curious.

"I keep the Lord in mind always. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Psalm 16:8
